Back Fitness Testing

A back fit test is often a part of a pre employment physical exam to test for strength and flexibility in the back and abdominal muscles.

DOT/DMV Physicals

Commercial motor vehicle drivers are required by the Department of Transportation to complete a DOT physical exam to maintain the driver certification. A DOT/DMV physical is valid for 24 months and evaluates an individual’s blood pressure, vision, and complete medical history. These physicals are required to ensure drivers can safely operate a commercial vehicle without endangering themselves or others on the road.

Functional Capacity Evaluation

A functional capacity evaluation measures an individual’s ability to perform activities associated with a certain position. This assessment is used to determine if you are able to work or can return to work after an injury and how an injury or illness has affected your ability to work.

Return to Work Screenings

If an injury or illness has prevented you from working, a return to work screening can help you and your employer assess if you are physically ready to be back on the job. During the screening, you will be assessed on your ability to complete the most challenging demands of your job. The findings will be reported back to your employer and human resources department at the end of the screening to determine if you are fit to return to your position.

Company Annual Physicals

A company physical may be conducted to measure your workforce’s ability to perform their day-to-day job duties, as well as assess the wellness of your employees. These physicals are conducted after an employee has been hired or extended an offer for employment and can play an important role in an organization’s occupational health.

Drug and Alcohol Screenings

Your employer may require a drug or alcohol screening to ensure the workplace is free of drug abuse. Whether you would like to provide pre-employment screenings, annual employee drug testing, or randomized drug testing, we offer the solutions your company needs.

On-Site Laboratory

Our on-site laboratory allows us to process bloodwork and other screenings for our clients efficiently. We have the ability to process and perform a number of blood panels and tests.

Tuberculosis (PPD) Screenings

Certain job functions and industries require new employees to receive a tuberculosis test during the pre-employment process or part of their annual physical exam. This includes laboratory workers, healthcare workers, teachers, home health aides, and more. We offer individual testing and testing services for companies.

Urgent Care for Work-Related Injuries

If you have been injured on the job and need urgent care services, count on Urgent Care of Morgan City to help. We offer a complete range of urgent care services and can help assess the extent of your injury and help you determine your return-to-work plan. We can help you coordinate any workers’ compensation claims and work with your employer to ensure they understand your health and recovery status.

EKG Testing

This type of test measures the electrical signals in your heart and can be used to identify a range of heart conditions. This includes blocked arteries, heart failure, heart damage, irregular heartbeats, and more. It is simple and painless and also helps identify the size and position of your heart.

Pre-Employment Screenings

Also known as a background check, many employers perform a pre-employment screening to verify your information and background. This screening can help an employer determine if a candidate has skills relevant to the position and is fit to work for their organization.
